Mr. Ajmal Khan, Vice-Chancellor Islamia College Peshawar and Mr. Xaviar Collard, Head of Sub-Delegation ICRC inaugurated the Henry Dunant Room at  Department of Shariah & Law, Islamia College Peshawar on 24th March 2015.

It is a multipurpose Room to be used for trainings, semianrs, workshops, meetingsand library. It is first of its kind in Pakistan, which is completed with the collaboration of of International Committee of Red Cross. 

Aim of this project is to promote International Humanitarian Law, as ICRC is the custodian of Four Geneva Conventions and their Additional Protocols. 

The Administration, Faculty and students are grateful to the ICRC in general and Mr. Sami u Rahman & Mr Naveed in particular for their tireless efforts and dedication, without which this dream was not to be materialized in such short span of time.
