MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF CENTRAL COMMITTEE REGARDING CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS
A meeting of the Vice-Chancellor with the members of the subject committee held on 19-11-2014 at 10:00 a.m in Main Committee Room of Islamia College, Peshawar.
After recitation from the Holy Quran, Mr. Ajmal Khan, Vice- Chancellor, ICP welcomed all the participants in the meeting. He threw light on the importance of this up-coming mega event to be held in the month of March 2015 and ask everyone to fully contribute in this event for its success. Thereafter, Mr. Abaseen Yousafzai being secretary of the central committee gave a detailed presentation to the participants.
After discussion on each and every point, following unanimous decisions for formation of committees and other essential preparatory arrangements with regard to Centenary Celebrations were made as under:-
Registration & Invitation Committee
Accommodation, Transportation, Food & Hospitality Committee
Decoration, Entertainment & KSS Committee
Security & Management Committee
A Coordinator of the committee can opt any person from faculty or administration in the committee on consent to play his or her role in the success of the event, also if someone voluntarily offers him or herself in any of the above committees for betterment be given chance.
At the end of the meeting the Vice-Chancellor reiterated for cooperation, assistance and patronage of everyone for making the functions bright and colorful. He further said that preparatory meetings of Central Committee will be held on Thursday of every 1st and 3rd week of the month at 11:00 a.m in main committee room of the University till the execution of Centenary Celebrations. Hence, next meeting will be convened on December 04, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
The meeting was ended with a vote of thanks from and to the Chair.
