Islamia College Anthem Enthralls Audience at Governor House

The audience of the Opening Ceremony of Centenary Celebrations on Monday,  gave an  enthusiastic applause to the official anthem of Islamia College Peshawar written by Prof. Dr. Abdus Salam Khalis. The audience comprising the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Provincial Ministers, Vice Chancellors of almost all public sector universities in the province, former ambassadors, alumni, faculty and students of Islamia College Peshawar were spell- bound while listening to the much awaited song at its launching. They were enthralled by the combination of great poetry, befitting musical composition, and impressive performance by  a band of students who lip sung the anthem.  The Governor greatly appreciated the effort and gave cash award of Rs. 10000/- each  to the students who performed with the anthem.  The anthem will soon be uploaded on this website wherefrom it will be available to all lovers of Islamia College Peshawar.
