Islamia College is renowned with its unprecedented demonstrated pursuit / motivation and commitment in developing indigenous human resources in a variety of disciplines. Its alumnae have been professionally and humanly so sharpened that today they are being referred as an excellent national resource across the nation even across national boundaries. The brand image of the institution that has been developed over the 100 years commitment, dedication and handwork serves as a towering challenge for you and calls for highest level of devotion, perseverance, determination and resolve at your end.
The university is at its evolving stage and the senior management is endeavoring to provide you excellent facilities including; access to high qualified faculty, modern labs and well stocked libraries, state- of –the- art computers and other scientific labs, peaceful , clean and learning friendly environment. The present leadership envisions transforming the Islamia College (university) in to a learning organization that acquires / generate knowledge and innovates fast enough to survive and thrive in a rapidly changing environment. Therefore, we are striving to create a research culture, a culture that encourages and supports continuous employee learning, critical thinking, and risk taking with new ideas, allow mistakes, and value employee contributions, learn from experience and experiment, and disseminate the new knowledge in and beyond organizational boundaries.
The university, through different phases, has made tremendous progress, but the university's brightest days still lie ahead. We are planning to convene national and international conference at the campus. Our different departments have initiated a series of seminars and workshops on the various issues of national and international importance. And, most important, we are on the way to establish industry -academia linkages and academic linkages / collaborative ventures with international universities and research organizations.
